Cameras that record are useful after something happens. Monitored cameras help while it is happening: a trained operator sees an after-hours event on live video and responds. They suit parking lots, storage yards and buildings that sit empty at night.
You choose the areas and the hours. When the system detects a person or vehicle in those areas after hours, the event goes to an operator.
Businesses with vehicles, equipment or inventory outside, and sites that sit empty after closing: equipment and construction yards, auto and truck lots, storage facilities, and apartment communities with open parking and amenity areas.
Regular cameras record. Monitored cameras also alert a trained operator in real time, who looks at live video and can act while the event is still happening.
Not necessarily. Monitored cameras protect outdoor and open areas, while an alarm protects the inside of the building. Many properties use both, and we recommend what fits yours.
Monitoring is usually billed monthly, in addition to the equipment. The amount depends on the number of cameras and the hours covered, and we include it in your written proposal.
Yes. The cameras send their events over the internet, so the site needs a reliable connection. We check this during the walkthrough.
